Video Tour of Star Trek: Enterprise Shuttlepod 1 at Profiles May 15, 2011 Hollywood Auction 44

Presented below is an outstanding video tour of the Star Trek: Enterprise Shuttlepod 1 craft, a full scale and fully detailed exterior/interior shuttle mockup that was used in the production of the Paramount television series; and is now being offered as Lot 1549 in the upcoming Profiles In History Hollywood Auction 44 on this Sunday, May 15th, 2011. Shuttlepod 1 measures 20 ft. in length and has a pre-auction bid estimate of $40,000 - $60,000; making it the likely highest priced and most significant item of Star Trek memorabilia in the sale. It is one of only two full scale shuttles made for the series, and features newly replicated interior control panels (made by the same Paramount shop that constructed the original panels) to replace the screen used control panels which were stripped from the vessel when the series concluded filming.

Special thanks to Steven Kirk of Abacus Costumes and Props (http://www.abacuscostumesandprops.com/) for his kindness in allowing the video to be presented.
