worn rust colored tunic from the highly memorable 2nd season TOS episode "Bread and Circuses" (first airdate: March 15, 1968). This historic costume was seen extensively throughout the
broadcast and is constructed of terry cloth featuring an ocher star motif.
Originally from the personal collection
of TOS Costume Designer William Ware Theiss, this item is currently
being offered for sale as Lot # 256 in Prop Store's upcoming "TV
Treasure's Live Auction" of the Comisar Collection, which will take
place on Saturday, December 1st, 2018. The costume has a starting bid
amount of $3,000, and a pre-auction bid estimate of $6,000 - $8,000.
