Heritage February 22, 2022 To Boldy Go ... Star Trek: The Auction Results

Presented below is the complete set of final prices realized for the 75 lots of Star Trek memorabilia that were offered in the Heritage February 22, 2022 To Boldly Go ... Star Trek: The Auction; which concluded yesterday with a live online bidding session at the HeritageLive!  (www.HA.com/Live) auction site.

The most expensive item in the sale was Lot #89006, the William Shatner TOS Season 1 "Captain Kirk" Starfleet Tunic and Pants, featuring a rare, early velour command tunic that had been previously screen-matched to the episodes "This Side of Paradise" and "Shore Leave", which realized a final price of $125,000 (including a 25% buyers premium) - making it the most-expensive Shatner costume ever to sell at auction.  Interestingly, the previous record holder was the very same tunic in this lot when it sold as a stand alone item in Profiles In History's July, 2012 Hollywood Auction 49 for a total of $98,400 (including a 23% buyers premium).  Some additional impressive results from yesterday's bidding include the Leonard Nimoy 2 Piece Alternate Universe Costume from the TOS 2nd season episode "Mirror, Mirror", which sold for a final value of $55,000; as well as William Shatner's own 3 Piece "Mirror, Mirror" Alternate Universe costume which witnessed a final price of $50,000.  A rare DeForest Kelley Starfleet Surgical Tunic and Pants from The Original Series sold for $27,500.

The following results show the final amounts realized for the various memorabilia lots, which includes the standard 25% buyers premium.  Just click on any of the images below to view an enlarged version ...

Commander Ben Finney Starfleet uniform from the 1st Season episode "Court Martial"; Jack Donner's Tal Romulan uniform from the 3rd Season episode "The Enterprise Incident"; a complete 3 piece Klingon uniform; a unique Majel Barrett Number One Starfleet Tunic from the 1st Pilot episode "The Cage"; Harry Basch's Dr. Brown Blue and Green Jumpsuit from the 1st Season episode "What Are Little Girls Made Of?"; Bruce Mars Cadet Finnegan silver tunic from the memorable 1st Season episode "Shore Leave"; and numerous other iconic treasures.

Some highlights of the non-TOS offerings in the "To Boldly Go ... Star Trek: The Auction" event include the screen used K-7 Space Station filming miniature from the celebrated Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Trials and Tribble-ations"; a Ricardo Montalban Khan left hand glove from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (Paramount, 1982); Bibi Besch's Dr. Carol Marcus costume from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (Paramount, 1982); and a Leonard Nimoy Yosemite Campfire Coffee Mug from Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (Paramount, 1989).
