Presented below are some detailed photos of a screen used maroon Starfleet Officer's uniform worn by actress Kirstie Alley in the role of Lieutenant Saavik from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982). Some film screenshots highlighting this costume are shown following the modern day images. The character of Lt. Saavik was developed specifically for the Star Trek films featuring the original series crew, and was the only new character to appear in three of the pictures - The Wrath of Khan, The Search for Spock, and The Voyage Home.
Many thanks to long time Star Trek fan and collector Paolo in Italy for his kind permission to display these photos.

Stellar Cartography Study Model from Star Trek VII: Generations (1994)
Foam core models are often developed of major set fixtures as a visualization tool and final design validation prior to construction of the full size set on the Paramount soundstage. This model of the new Enterprise D Stellar Cartography room to be featured in the seventh motion picture - Star Trek: Generations (1994) - was created by the Star Trek production team and is presented below in many high resolution photos. The model was prominently seen in the pages of "The Art of Star Trek" (Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens, Pocket Books, 1995). Some images of the chamber as it appeared in the film are shown after the model photography...
