TOS-Style Helm Targeting Scanner from TNG "Relics"

Presented below are some detailed photos of a TOS-style Helm Targeting Scanner that was created by the Star Trek: TNG prop department for use in the highly memorable 6th season Next Generation episode "Relics" (first airdate: Oct. 12, 1992), yet was ultimately never screen used. During the episode, which featured the guest appearance of Original Series actor James Doohan in the role of Captain Montgomery Scott, a touching scene takes place in which Scotty reminisces about his service aboard the original Constitution class starship U.S.S. Enterprise while inside a holodeck recreation of the Original Series Enterprise Bridge. Captain Picard shares a toast of Aldebaran whiskey with Scotty in this simulated TOS environment.
