This exceptional piece of Star Trek history is complete with it's original double row of scalloped gold rank braid on the sleeves and sciences patch on the left chest; and is accompanied by impeccable provenance in the form of a May, 1968 handwritten letter on Star Trek stationary from TOS Costume Designer William Ware Theiss transferring "Leonard's shirt" to the consignor as well as an August, 1968 letter from Leonard Nimoy to the consignor that mentions the uniform. The pre-auction bid estimate for this tunic is $80,000 - $120,000.
