This model might rank as one of the most highly utilized Star Trek motion picture and television series starship filming models; appearing as Captain Sulu's Excelsior in Star Trek III, IV, and VI; as the U.S.S. Enterprise B in Star Trek: Generations; as a number of different starships in Star Trek: The Next Generation as well as Deep Space Nine - most recently the U.S.S. Lakota, whose identification labels it still possesses. Measuring 92.5" in length and 32" in width, this model was built by Industrial Light and Magic and sold as Lot 998 in the Christies 40th Anniversary Star Trek auction for $132,000.
