Presented below are some detailed photos of a screen worn Command Division Starfleet Duty uniform from the new Star Trek: Discovery television series; worn by none other than Sonequa Martin-Green in her starring role as the Vulcan-raised human First Officer Michael Burnham, aboard the U.S.S. Shenzhou. This costume was part of an impressive Discovery-themed prop and costume exhibit at the recent Creation Official 2017 Star Trek Las Vegas Convention that took place from August 2 - 6 at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino in Nevada. The fabric for all of the Starfleet duty uniforms originated in Switzerland, where it was dyed the custom navy blue color before being shipped to Toronto, Canada for cutting and the assembly of the costumes. Star Trek: Discovery will make it's world premiere exactly one month from today on September 24th with a simultaneous broadcast on CBS television and the CBS All Access streaming video on demand service.
