Detailed Photostudy of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-A 8 foot filming model

This 8 foot long (152 cm) filming miniature was used as the Enterprise NCC-1701 (refit) in the first three feature films; and then was employed as the USS Enterprise-A in the subsequent four motion pictures. It sold as Lot 1000 in the 2006 Christies 40th Anniversary Star Trek auction for $240,000. Some detailed photographs follow, taken by Jim Pugliese during the public viewing in NYC.
