Profiles In History - December 2018 - Hollywood Auction 96 - Star Trek Results

Presented below is the complete set of final prices realized for the 70 lots of Star Trek memorabilia that were offered in Profiles In History's Hollywood Auction 96; which concluded this afternoon in a live online bidding session at icollector.com.

The Original Series memorabilia performed exceptionally well, with Lot 1522, the Type II Phaser Pistol selling for an astounding $204,800 (with a high bid of $160,000 + $44,800 buyers premium) and Lot 1523, the William Shatner 3rd Season Captain Kirk tunic realizing a final price of $76,800 (on a high bid of $60,000 plus a $16,800 buyers premium).  Lot 1579, a hero illuminating Starfleet Phaser from Star Trek: Into Darkness sold for $15,360 and Lot 1574, a Star Trek: Original Series-style U.S.S. Enterprise NCC 1701 filming miniature from Star Trek: DS9 witnessed a final price of $12,800.

Star Trek: Discovery Michelle Yeoh Emperor Georgiou Costume and Regalia

Presented below are some detailed photos of an elaborate Michelle Yeoh screen worn Terran Empire costume used in her portrayal of Emperor Philippa Georgiou in multiple first season episodes of Star Trek: Discovery.  This costume features a black jumpsuit, consisting of leather and custom dyed fabric, that is accented with an ornate gold chest armor piece and a floor-length flowing gold Emperor's robe.  It was part of an impressive Discovery-themed prop and costume exhibit at the Creation Official 2018 Star Trek Las Vegas Convention that took place from August 1 - 5 at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino in Nevada.  Accompanying the costume photos are images of several pieces of royal weaponry; including a sword, dagger, mace and throwing star, to complete the presentation.  Star Trek: Discovery will begin its second season broadcasts next month on January 17, 2019, and can be viewed exclusively on the CBS All Access streaming video on demand service....

Profiles In History - Dec. 11 - 14, 2018 - Hollywood Auction 96 - Star Trek Preview

On Thursday, December 13th at 11:00 am PST, Day 3 of Profiles In History's "Hollywood Auction 96" will commence at Profiles headquarters in Calabasas, CA. A total of 70 lots of Star Trek memorabilia will be featured in the sale; forming a very impressive offering of screen used and production related artifacts from across the franchise.

Highlights from Star Trek: The Original Series include a white U.S.S. Enterprise Bridge Chair from "The Cage" and "Where No Man Has Gone Before"; a Type II Phaser Pistol; a 3rd season William Shatner Captain Kirk Starfleet command tunic with provenance from the 1993 William Ware Theiss estate auction; a pair of Leonard Nimoy worn Spock ears; a set of colored resin Enterprise bridge panel buttons; and a Tribble from the fan favorite 2nd season episode "The Trouble with Tribbles".

Other highlights from the more recent Star Trek television series and feature films include a Leonard Nimoy Spock Starfleet uniform from Star Trek: TMP; several Type II phaser lots from productions such as Star Trek 3: The Search for Spock, Star Trek: First Contact, and Star Trek Into Darkness; a 75" U.S.S. Enterprise NCC 1701 filming miniature from Star Trek: DS9; and a combination lot of historic Enterprise-E bridge workstations from the last three TNG-crew based feature films that includes the Captain's Chair along with both the Ops and Conn Consoles, originally sold in the historic Christie's "40 Years of Star Trek" 2006 auction.
