Below are some detailed photos of a screen used mutated microbe prop from the third Star Trek major motion picture "The Search for Spock" (Paramount, 1984). A large number of these creatures are seen in the foliage surrounding Spock's empty casket on the surface of the Genesis planet in an early scene of the film. This prop, which measures 11" in length and 6" in width, is meant to represent a tiny alien microbe that experienced tremendously accelerated growth due to the effects of the Genesis device.
