Star Trek: The Experience TNG Operations Console Measurement Study

Presented below are many photos providing dimensional data on one of the Star Trek: The Next Generation Operations Consoles that was formerly on display in the full scale Enterprise D Bridge recreation at the Star Trek: The Experience attraction in Nevada; which completed an 11 year run at the Las Vegas Hilton in September, 2008. While this console was not screen used in the production of the television series; it was constructed by the Paramount studios prop department and likely is an accurate representation of the size of the screen used consoles. This replica stands approximately 32" in height, and features an approximately 41.5" wide horizontal "monitor" unit on top that supports / presents its largest LCARS display. It should be noted that this console did not come with its original LCARS control panels from the Las Vegas exhibit; so a pair of simple reproductions that could be displayed without backlighting were created based on reference photos of the correct screen used Okudagrams for this workstation. An earlier photostudy on this site focused on both the Operations and Navigations console LCARS panel appearance as seen on the TNG Bridge over the 7 year life of the television series, and may be viewed at the following link: http://www.startrekpropauthority.com/2010/04/star-trek-tng-lcars-panels-from.html

And now, the detailed dimensional photos ...
