Profiles In History - Oct. 17 - 18 & 19, 2014 - Hollywood Auction 65 - Star Trek Preview

On Sunday, October 19th at 11:00 am PDT, Day 3 of Profiles In History's "Hollywood Auction 65" will commence at Profiles headquarters in Calabasas, CA.  A total of 43 lots of Star Trek memorabilia will be featured in the sale; forming a very impressive offering of screen used and production related artifacts from across the franchise.

Included in this auction are 20 lots from the personal collection of Star Trek: The Next Generation actor and director Jonathan Frakes, with two of his screen worn Commander Riker Starfleet uniforms available (one from TNG and the other from Star Trek: Generations) along with Frakes Directors Chairs, Scripts, production blueprints and other rare documents and artwork.

Certainly one of the highlights to be offered in this event is the hero, screen worn Ricardo Montalban "Khan" tunic from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan; which was the subject of the previous post on this website.  The pre-auction bid estimate for the tunic is $30,000 - $50,000.

Other noteworthy items include a Patrick Stewart Captain Picard ST:TNG Season 1-2 duty uniform, a Galileo shuttlecraft miniature from Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, Captain Picard's Ready Room desktop computer from Star Trek: Insurrection, and the Captain's Yacht "Cousteau" commissioning plaque from Star Trek: Insurrection; as well as a large 61" x 21.5" Ops Station LCARS Bridge display from Ensign Harry Kim's station on Star Trek: Voyager.
