Star Trek TOS Blooper Reels from '70s Era Conventions

I attended my first Star Trek convention in 1976 as a youth in my hometown of Toronto, Canada. Aside from the thrill of meeting some of the Original Series crew actors in person (and actually kissing Nichelle Nichols after receiving her permission to do so!); or the enjoyment of sitting in the Captain's chair of a full scale recreation of the Starship Enterprise bridge that was assembled in one of the large conference rooms of the downtown Royal York Hotel; one of the most memorable and enjoyable aspects of that early convention -- and a characteristic of many early Star Trek conventions in the '70s and '80s -- was the opportunity to watch special Star Trek Blooper Reels containing some humorous outtakes from the filming of the series that were created by the production crew after each season and not originally intended for public consumption. These films were often presented in a dedicated screening room along with other outstanding programming ... such as endless broadcasts of the uncut Original Series episodes themselves ... and were always extremely popular with the convention attendees. Below are some of the original Blooper Reel compilations ... Enjoy!
