Captain Picard's Enterprise-D Command Chair

Some photos of the screen used Enterprise-D Captain's Chair as seen in the film Star Trek VI: Generations (1994); which began storyline development in 1993 and commenced filming in late March 1994 just days after the Next Generation cast completed shooting the Season 7 finale "All Good Things ...".










Virtually all TNG screen used LCARS control panels contain hidden tributes to the production crew of the series in the form of text inscriptions featured on the simulated buttons of the panel that contain letters from the individuals first and last names. On the following closeup view of the Captain's Chairs right armrest panels; it can be seen that the entire display is filled with such button tributes, and that the first button (closest to the top left corner of the photo) contains the characters "GE ROD" in honor of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry...
