The following is a set of black & white document scans that form the complete 18 page shooting schedule for "The Cage"; the original pilot episode for Star Trek that featured actor Jeffrey Hunter as Captain Christopher Pike. Principal photography for this production, which used the working title "The Menagerie", took place during the months of November and December, 1964. Interestingly, the set of Call Sheets which accompanied this schedule feature a working title of "The Cave" for 11/23/64, the first day of rehearsals and a working title of "The Cage" for 11/24/64, the second day of rehearsals. It appears that the title "The Menagerie" which is shown on the shooting schedule was not fixed until Day 3 of rehearsals, 11/25/64. The Shooting Schedule begins on Friday, November 27th, 1964 as the first day of principal photography.
