The Sydney Premiere... (Identified as the World Premiere location. It is noted that Paramount did show the film as a "surprise" screening to a crowd at the famous Alamo Drafthouse theatre in Austin, Texas on the night of April 6, 2009 with Leonard Nimoy as an unannounced special guest. The evening had been advertised as a remastered presentation of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, to be accompanied by a special 10 minute segment from Star Trek XI. The Austin screening began 3 hours ahead of the Sydney screening.)
